There’s a Growling in the Distance

It’s getting louder. Cycles are coming!

The long-awaited Car Wars Cycles is deep in playtest. We have seen the almost-final prints of the cycles themselves. Release of the four-cycle starter set is now planned for fall of 2025. This game will be playable by itself and fully compatible with Car Wars 6e. Cars vs. cycles, yessss . . . 

Car Wars continues to zoom along as a core line for SJ Games. With the success of our new 2-player Orange/Purple starter set, a growing fiction series, and Organized Play in the works*, we are committed to not just supporting the Car Wars world, but growing it! To that end, we've decided to bring Car Wars Cycles directly to market. We had wanted to run it as a crowdfund, but today’s tariff uncertainty makes a crowdfund “iffy” right now. And rather than delay, we want to get Cycles out to you as soon as we can!

And if you’re at Gen Con, you can play Cycles at our booth!
